Welcome to the Aspen AI Workshop

Today, your team will work with AI to create an original mascot that captures
Aspen’s culture, values and future vision. You’ll start with an idea, use
Microsoft Copilot to explore and develop it, bring your concept to life
visually, and turn it into a final poster.

No design or AI expertise required. Bring your creativity, curiosity and teamwork.

Your workshop journey

From first idea to final presentation.

1. Briefing (15 min)
   Get to know the challenge, understand what makes a strong mascot and explore
   the judging criteria.
   Your focus:
   - Challenge
   - Aspen values
   - Creative direction
   - Judging criteria

2. Character building (35 min)
   Start individually, then come together as a team. Develop your mascot’s
   identity and use Copilot to explore and refine your ideas.
   Create:
   - Mascot Name
   - Personality
   - Superpower
   - Role within Aspen
   - Short Backstory
   - AI-generated 3D visual

3. Poster creation (15 min)
   Bring your final mascot concept together in one compelling poster.
   Your poster should include:
   - Mascot name
   - Hero AI-generated visual
   - Personality & Role
   - Superpower
   - Short backstory & inspiration
   - Why this mascot represents Aspen
   If your team reaches the Top 5, your Team Leader or nominated presenter
   will have 4 minutes to present your concept live on stage. Prepare four
   key talking points:
   - The inspiration behind the mascot
   - Its personality, role and superpower
   - How Copilot and prompt refinement shaped the result
   - Why it represents Aspen’s culture, values and future vision

4. Top 5 voting + coffee (15 min)
   Once all posters are submitted, explore the live gallery and vote for the
   five concepts you believe best represent Aspen. Your vote helps select the
   Top 5 finalists.
   You will submit your group poster and your individual vote using this
   platform.

5. Live presentations and jury voting (30 min)
   The Top 5 teams take the stage. Each finalist has 4 minutes to present:
   - The inspiration behind the mascot
   - Its personality, role and superpower
   - How Copilot and prompt refinement shaped the result
   - Why it represents Aspen’s culture, values and future vision
   The Top 5 will be evaluated by the workshop jury using these criteria:
   - Creativity & Originality
   - Aspen Brand & Values
   - Storytelling & Concept
   - Visual Impact

6. Grand finale
   The judging panel evaluates the Top 5 finalists against the published
   criteria and selects the winning concept.
